Stairs become a negotiation
Most buildings in India have no lift. On crutches you need the railing and both crutches at once, which you do not have. A knee scooter cannot climb a step at all.

How it works
The load goes through your thigh, not your hands.
A moulded cuff sits under the back of your thigh and takes your body weight down an aluminium frame to a padded base on the floor. Your knee bends naturally; your shin and foot hang clear of the ground behind you.
Height adjusts at two points without tools, so it fits under a cast or a walking boot and re-sets in seconds as swelling changes over the first three weeks.
